The Area

Brookline is an incredibly diverse community on the edge of Boston and bordering Boston’s famous “Emerald Necklace” park system. Most residents work in the heart of the city just 3 miles away or in the world-renowned Longwood Medical Area just a short walk (or even shorter drive) from our front door.

Not only is getting to work a breeze, having fun is easy, too. We’re just down the road from the new Fenway, home of the Red Sox and terrific entertainment venues like The House of Blues.

But make no mistake, Brookline has its own long list of highly rated and recommended restaurants and shops. It’s not uncommon to see your neighbors commuting to work on foot, by bike or via the subway during the day, and crossing paths with them again at night in Brookline Village as you run errands or grab something to eat.

Brookline also hosts a number of institutions of higher learning such as Newbury College, Pine Manor, New England Institute of Art, and parts of Boston University, Boston College and Harvard University.

It seems this educational atmosphere rubs off on our own kids. Ninety percent of all students in Brookline earn their high school diploma, and more than 80% continue on to colleges and universities.

What more could you ask for yourself and your family?
